In Sailor the Dog’s house, breakfast usually gets served about 4:30 AM… by Mom on weekdays, and Dad on the weekends.
Human’s may not like this one… it’s pretty yucky. But Sailor the Dog… he loves it.
Start with the empty dog dish and a tail-wagging springbok-hop dash to the garage, where the big plastic food storage bin lives. One and one-half cups of Eukanuba Large Breed Weight Control dogfood (adjust to the size of your thinks-he’s-human).
Grab a coffee mug… we use coffee mugs for a lot of stuff around our house… and fill it half-way with green beans (fresh, canned, thawed frozen… doesn’t really matter which, he’s a DOG for crap’s sake… but if they’re frozen, make sure you THAW them first). Nuke the beans for about 30 seconds… WARM not HOT!
Mix the beans in with the food and a little hot water.
YOWZA! Man, that’s good!
