Wow summertime coming is sooooo cool!  In Colorado, we have a lot of Festivals beginning in May and running into October.  Um, let's see.  Telluride Bluegrass, Telluride Film, Denver Film, Boulder Film, Octoberfest, Winter Park Jazz, Breckenridge, Aspen, Vail, Durango, Estes Park... all of the cool places you've heard of 10,000 times before... and... Thornton...  huh?

Yup, last Saturday was Thornton Fest in the city of Thornton, Colorado... booths, way too much good food, stuff to buy, dancing, music, did I mention food?

And....  Dogs.... Bazillions of them.   Half of the real-estate for the Thornton Fest was dedicated to Paws Fest!  OK, cats were probably allowed, but let's get real.  This was about DOGS!  Big ones, tiny ones... woofers and yappers...  tuggers and laid-backs... jumpers and nappers.  Sailor the Dog met a ton of new friends, and visited with another ton of old ones.  His vet ( Community Pet Hospital ), his favorite hotel ( Pete and Macs ) and more   

We also watched some amazing dog stuff! 

Flyball, Disc Dogs, Free Style, dog shows and more.  Dogs racing, dogs jumping wow!

They had an AniMall - Shopping for pet stuff, products and services.  Oh, and did I mention food?  Dog food, biscuits, treats all kinds of goodies.
