On the Move
Dad (and my personal private webguy) says I’m goin’ mobile (whatever that means) so…
Licks and Greetings from my new WordPress site. Dad was up most of the night getting it all together, while I was sleeping on the chair next to him. It turned out to be a pretty simple process, with a cool WordPress plugin that extracted all of the primary content from my Joomla! site.
Dad still had to re-insert all the images, and make the pages, but still MUCH better than having to cut and paste all of that stuff.
Why the switch? You’re thinking.
I can hear the wheels and gears whirring in your head from where I sit. Unlike Dad, I’ve got really good hearing. And it’s really a good question. Since it doesn’t really have anything to do with food or kibble or chew toys, I don’t know the answer… but Dad does. Let me ask him… Pitter patter, pitter patter…. OK, I’m back.
It’s because some relatively new plugins, like WPTouch, WordTwit, and Onswipe make it really easy for us to serve mobile devices (whatever they are) and be sociable.
And I LOVE bein’ sociable.
